Win a year scholarship 2024 – 2025 drawing and painting study at Luna Nguyen Atelier
To celebrate LNA’s first anniversary and support emerging artists while giving back to the community, Luna is organizing an adult art competition.
The event will be open to a maximum of 12 participants, who will be tasked with creating a painting on canvas using acrylic paints. We will announce the task at the start of the competition.
The competition will run for 2 hours, taking place on Sunday, 17th November 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at LNA.
All necessary art materials will be provided by LNA for the day of the competition. The event is free of charge and the participants get to keep their paintings after the competition.
The participants need to sign up for the competition by sending an e-mail to info@lunanguyen.com with all details below:
– Full name
– Age
– Gender
– Living place
– Email address
– Telephone number
– Motivation letter
– A photo of 1 or more of their artworks
– Their permission if taking photos or videos for social media purposes allowed
A panel of professional artists and art teachers will judge the participants’ artworks and select a winner. The winner will be announced by 24th November (1 week after the competition date).
The winner will get 1 year scholarship study by LNA free of charge (with the duration from 1st December 2024 until 30th November 2025).
Please note the following:
As a condition of receiving the scholarship, the winner is asked to contribute at least two hours per month towards supporting administrative tasks, photography, modelling, marketing or organising the atelier. This can be discussed further depends on what the participant is willing to offer their time with.
The scholarship covers the course fee only, art materials are not included. No cash prize will be awarded.
The winner is required to attend the “Adult Drawing & Painting” class, held every Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, except on public holidays/ month (for example summer holiday in August).
If the winner is unable to attend the class for any reason (such as relocating to a new city), the scholarship will be transferred to another participant.

” The Power of Art” Exhibition at Goede Rede Concerten | Kerkgracht, 1354 AM, Almere Haven
From Sunday, 1st September until Tuesday, 5th November
We would like to invite you to visit Luna’s art exhibition in collaboration with Goede Rede Concerten Almere Haven (from 1st September until 5th November)
You will discover her diverse artworks, including paintings on fabric, paper, and canvas, along with drawings, embroidery, and textile design.
Luna will also showcase a special collection of embroidered and silver-engraved pieces, celebrating traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship and heritage.

Join us at Expositie CultuurDome for “Fabric Painting & Installation” by Luna Nguyen, showcasing vibrant fabric paintings and textile designs inspired by traditional Japanese kimonos.
Experience Luna’s unique blend of painting, embroidery, and textile artistry. The exhibition runs from 21st September to 20th October 2024 at Cultuurdome, Middachtenlaan 21, 1333 XS, Almere Buiten, showcasing artworks of total 16 artists.
Open every Saturday and Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00, with free entry.

Adults Fabric Painting Workshop
Join a fabric painting workshop where you will learn: to paint on silk, linen, cotton, denim, and various synthetic fabrics.
